Ripple’s ZILO Move Exposes a Much Bigger Institutional Strategy

Ripple’s strategic investments in ZILO and Licuido add digital transfer agency, fund administration, tokenized-asset issuance and collateral mobility to its expanding institutional infrastructure. This video examines how those capabilities fit alongside Ripple Prime, RLUSD, Ripple Custody, Ripple Treasury and the XRP Ledger—and why legally recognized ownership and investor servicing remain necessary even when a fund exists on a public blockchain.

We also compare Ripple’s direction with BNY Mellon’s Digital Transfer Agency, Aviva Investors’ tokenized liquidity fund, DTCC’s multichain tokenization work and Ripple’s participation in Open USD. The evidence suggests Ripple is systematically positioning itself around the functions institutions require, but it does not prove coordination with BNY, DTCC adoption, a completed unified stack or automatic XRP demand.
