Jeonbuk Bank's Ripple Deal Is Really About Cross-Border Infrastructure

Ripple announced that JB Jeonbuk Bank is deploying Ripple Payments for cross-border remittances in South Korea, adding another Korean institutional relationship alongside Kbank and Kyobo Life. But the announcement does not confirm that Jeonbuk is using XRP, RLUSD, the XRP Ledger or Ripple’s ODL product—and it does not mean the bank simply replaced SWIFT.
